FileSystemObject has a FileExists method that would do what you want.

Great! Thanks. This did the trick. Now, only one question. If I have the
line:

Set Folder = App.Namespace( X )

How can I check if the 'folder' was actually 'defined'. Is there some
kind of an IFExist instruction, that can be used, to check, if the above
line actually did work. Why I am asking, is that if X is set to certain
values, the script halts. Other X values, do work perfectly. So to have
the script continue, I need to check if the actual value of X, really
did 'define' the 'Folder' object in the above line. Hope my question
makes sense. If not, let me know, and I will try to describe a bit more.
Thanks again,
