Comments: The Indiana School for the Blind and GW Micro are proud to present Assistive Technology Workshop Day. This is a FREE workshop for VI teachers, teachers, and anyone in education that needs information or instruction on technology for students who are blind or visually impaired. Teachers may also bring their VI students or parents of VI students to this workshop.

Do you need to learn how to download accessible books for your students? Do you have a low vision student who is having difficulty reading tests? Do you have a blind student that needs access to a PC? Do you need to learn how to use the latest technology to read books? This is your opportunity for you and your student to get hands-on with the latest technology for students who are blind or visually impaired.
The workshop starts at 10 A.M. and runs until 3:30 P.M. There will be two simultaneous workshops in the morning and afternoon: Notetakers and Window-Eyes. By having two simultaneous workshops, you will be able to get your hands on the equipment. The schedule is as follows:

Notetakers/Window-Eyes:
10 - 11:30

Lunch:
11:30 - 12:30

Notetakers/Window-Eyes:
12:30 – 2:00

BookSense:
2 – 3:00

Low Vision:
3:00 – 3:30
