Thanks, Jim.

With these steps, I can duplicate the problem. I'll investigate.

here are the steps I am using to make the hot spot in skype.
open the skype main window.
now press alt+1 to get to the contact list.
now select a contact you want to chat with.
now press the space bar.
now use the mouse boundry rotor to set the mouse to active window.
now use the mouse search and find type.
the mouse will land on type message here to x person where x is the name of the person in the contact list you have selected. now if you were to click the mouse at this point the chat input edit box would then have focus, but we don't click the mouse here. what we do is we define the hot spot using the hot spot dialog. open the hot spot dialog type a name for the hot spot check the box that says execute a hot key and select singal click left mouse button.
add the hot spot.
now try to use the hot spot it doesn't work.
your mouse will still be in the same place so you can see if you click the left mouse button on this location what should happen. now try to go to the hot spot you defined in the hot spot edit dialog.
I just tried this this morning and here is what I get.
Unable to Route Pointer (Dialog)
Unable to route pointer because the active window Skype does not match (Static Text) the saved window Skype. Do you want to search for the Skype window, and (Static Text) route the mouse to the move to chat input box hotspot if found? (NOTE: (Static Text)
This proceedure may take several seconds.) (Static Text)
Yes (Button) No (Button)
the active window Skype doesn't match the saved window Skype? not sure how that can be they look the same to this kid but ok. there you go the steps to reproduce it what I see once I define the hot spot and try to go to it.
