because first these functions are not users windows. these functions are
scripts to read headers in the list view. so telling it to read user window 1
etc will do just that. ok new feature needed execute script hot key allowing
the user to pick hot keys that are defined within scripts. script menu
already does this buy allowing the user to pick from a list of scripted actions
press space bar on execute then the script will issue the command.

Subject: Still playing with HotSpot - any idea what's going on?

Just to get a feeling with the script, I tried to have the HotSpot script read
a couple of user windows.

In Outlook Express, the user windows 1-9 are predefined to read the respective
coloumns. That is, Window 1 will read the first column, usually holding the
name of the sender; Window 2, will read the second column, usually holding the
subject of the message. Ok, so I tried to set up a hotkey to read the two first
user windows, or columns. The user windows are predefined from GW, so you don't
have to mess with them, so as to reproduce my issue.

1. Open Outlook Express, and place yourself on one of the messages in your
inbox.
2. Open HotSpot with Alt-Ctrl-P.
3. Associate the HotSpot with Outlook Expres, and name it Test.
4. Set the hotkey to something - I played around with several, with same result
- let's say the letter X.
5. Add the following three actions, choosing 'Executing Hotkey' for each one:
 a) Mouse to focus.
 b) Read User Window 1.
 c) Read User Window 2.
6. Save the HotSpot, and close the dialog.
7. when in your inbox, try to hit your new hotkey (X).

In my case, the status line will be spoken, and then the whole screen will be
read. Why? Seems like the HotSpot does not really like to read only the user
windows I asked it to. And why would it read things from the status line first?

Also, I do have a small question here: What does the ITERATION value do? I get
it, that the DELAY value, will pause a moment before executing the action, if
set to anything but zero; am I right? But then, what does the ITERATION value
do?

Thanks all!
