Thanks Stephen.  It would be harder for me to do this, as I don't put any of
my scripts in the default profile, because they would occasionally cause
problems loading at the same time as WE was coming up.  so, I put them in
another profile (at the suggestion of GW), and then switch to it after WE is
loaded.

Still, I could create a shortcut; I'm just curious to see if anyone else has
seen this.

I've never seen the problem on my xp pc, only my vista one.

It's a little long-winded, but I type the following into the run dialog:
%appdata%\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\users\Default

It isn't as quick as using the profile dialog, but it works every time.
