I'm curious: what is the problem with the batch update feature in the WE Add/Remove Packages dialog?

I'm open to ideas but don't think I can make the Install Packages script auto update without any user intervention. The script uses a method of the WE object model that takes a .wepm file name as a parameter. It then presents the dialog for previewing a package, followed by the one to confirm acceptance of the license. I do not know of a programmatic way of avoiding those dialogs.

hi, good idea. another nice feature would be a method to allow install
packages to automatically update scripts we have installed. lets say
check for updates and then a option to set how often this should happen.
then if updates are found install packages could automatically update
the scripts that need updating.

Hello,

Jamal, I am not sure if this makes since, but what would be nice to see
in your install packages, and I am not sure if it is possible, but when
we put the script in update mode it would be nice to see the current
installed version, and the version to upgrade to. Just might be helpful
in for the information’s sakes. Just a thought.

Thanks.
