Hi Richard,

well, text attributes are contained in the clip object, which is contained
in any window object, which is contained in the cursor object, which is what
I believe you're interested in.

All of this is in the scripting manual, although I admit it's pretty short
on examples or explanations as to how to make use of it.

There are some examples and articles which try to teach various points of
scripting on the GW wiki page at http://gwmicro.com/wiki

After you've read them, unfortunately, there's no other instructional
material for windoweyes scripting, so you'll need to turn to the more than a
hundred scripts which you can download, and start looking at them. one of
them in particular (named something like Learning Scripting) may be helpful,
and is mentioned, along with other possible helpful scripts, in the wiki
article on learning to script.

hth,

Chip

Subject: Getting attributes from text under systemcursor?

Hello Scripters.

Today i need to know how i can recaive the attributes of text under the
systemcursor. I need the color, and if the text is fat or underlined. What
do i have to type into Immed? By the way, where can i find a comprehensive
reference for everything thats not listed in the WE scripting reference? I
am thinking of the whole activewindow.* stuff. Microsofts pages don't say
something about it.

Thanks

Richard
