I don't have a clue what you mean by the "sign under the writing cursor"
but if you mean the character under the cursor then you can again do the
following:
@print text.character(crusor.position.screenpoint)
Again, I'm assuming Notepad had focus with the cursor on a character
before you bring up immed and type the above line.
