Hi Rick,
I guess there are a couple of VS topics: using VS to develop Window-Eyes scripts, and using VS with Window-Eyes to develop other applications. I was referring to how much VS with VB.NET would offer over a text editor with VBScript for developing Window-Eyes scripts. I definately see that there are other advantages that a good VS/WE environment would offer for developing full-fledged applications. I appreciate your leadership in teaching how that can be done!

Best,
Jamal

Hi Jamal: I was just in VB.net doing some work. There are things I have
taken for granted that would still make it a fine development environment.
Project structure and Class integration, Solution Explorer, the Object
Browser, the Navigation Hot Keys, built-in support for a Local Database
and Syntax checking are some of the ones I have noted while in vb.net. I
just took these things for granted and was all hung up on the Power of
the Managed UI controls which now have counterparts in WE. I tried to
wire up Vb.net with WE some time ago but could not figure it out - even
with the examples from you and the GW Guys. I just am not sure I could
get it started.I am pretty confident I could create a VBS script -
actually I did build one to read the Table Designer in VWD using VBS and
am still using it today. I might give it one more shot since I am so
comfortable in the VS IDE but VBS works, there is allot of relative code
for it and the newer features and UI Controls should make it quite
suitable unless the script would require more than a few classes,
methods UI Controls and perhaps a DataStore.
