if this is firefox 6.8 gw has confirmed that there autoload script does not work on edit boxes. you have to tab away and back into the edit box while browse mode is off then it will not auto load when you type into the edit boxes. you don't need to do this with the firefox beta. but i would not install it. with me browse mode can not be turned on, rendering the firefox beta useless. i got no reply for this problem from gw or anyone on the gw-micro list. ----- Original Message ----- From: "martin webster" <[email protected]>

hi,
having the same problem here especially on my windows 7 machine when typing in edit boxes. Even when I tried the enhanced auto load script this did not seem to make any difference when trying to use google or yahoo web mail. the only way I found round this was to open notepad type my search query in to notepad's edit field and copy and paste it in to googles edit box, or switch auto load off completely and manually engage browse mode myself. One more interesting point is that when writing e-mails in yahoo the insert plus "a", to to switch autoload on or off claims to be the speak all control, the only way around this is to open google switch autoload off using insert plus "a", and alt tab across the yahoo. Using latest version of mozilla fire fox and window's 7 64 bit: machine specs follow:

Hi Aaron,

Yes, I know, but auto load is
on, and it still does not change and load the new page. No one has come up with
a fix or suggested to me how to fix it. I have re-loaded Window-Eyes, done
everything and it still does not sense the page change. I did have more than one virus protection software and now only one, disabled Adobe air which was on my
computer but nothing has worked to get rid of the problem...
Unless thee is some window
setting or IE setting that would cause this, if so, any
suggestions?

Sincerely

Bruce

Does this fix also disable the
auto load when refreshing a screen or navigating by left and right arrows
also? This script is only designed to keep browse mode
from auto loading while you're typing in edit boxes. That's it. Browse Mode will
reload, by design, when you refresh a page or navigate to a new one (unless
auto-load is turned off explicitly).
