Over the past while, we've received a number of reproaches relating to
list members subscribed to automatic approval systems. When these
members receive messages from a GW Micro list, they generate automatic
responses, usually asking you to verify yourself by clicking some link.
You'll often get these when posting a new message to a list. To combat
this, we've made a small change in our email list policies, and made a
note on our listserv page (www.gwmicro.com/listserv):
/Please note: using an email that requires approval through an automated
approval service is not recommended, and will cause you to be
unsubscribed without warning. GW Micro has a strong policy against list
spam, but if you are concerned about unsolicited email, we recommend
using an alternative email provider such as GMail <http://www.gmail.com>.
/After this message goes out, I will remove any members that have been
complained about. If you have any questions or comments, please let us know.
