I am experiencing the shift-alt-s problem, but I don't run the proofreading
script. When I execute the shift-alt-s command, a long period of time
passes, and a message saying something like, "This is taking way too long"
is spoken. Nothing useful actually happens during the lengthy delay.

Hi Brandon:
I think you, or somebody said they have problems with the shift-alt-s
not doing what it was supposed to do.
One of the problems may be a key connflict with the Proofreading
script which usees the shift-alt-s key to save the settings. It
brings up a dialog asking if you really want to save the settings. In
order to Remedy that, you can change the hotkey to something else in
the Help And Options menu.
