I'm saving this message in the hopes of being able to make it to that
one myself. Btw, beware that TeamTalk's built-in recording mechanism
saves each person's stream in a separate file and starts a new file
every time a person stops and restarts transmitting, which adds up to
thousands of files rather quickly in many cases, and quite the mess to
reconstruct into a coherent single audio file. If you can record via
something outside of TeamTalk, you will almost certainly get more
manageable results. Apologies if I'm spouting a lot of stuff you
already know full well. :-)

hi all,

the online scripting/programming classes are tentatively scheduled for
Sunday at 7 pm est. These are classes to learn how to write scripts, not
how to use them (GW already has an audio presentation you can download on
how to understand and use scripts). The first class will be this Sunday
February 20.

they are using TeamTalk, the TeamTalk4 public server (U.S.), and the channel
will be named scripting and the password will be the lowercase letters gw.
I have a scripting.tt file for anyone who wants it, just write me offlist.

come if you can, either to help teach or to possibly ask some question you
have.

If you don't have a microphone you can submit your remarks via text to the
group.

I will also try and record and post each class.

I apologize to those in Europe and other timezones where this time isn't
convenient. write to me off list if this is your case, I am thinking of
possible work-arounds.
