Hi:
I am evaluating an application called NVIVO from QSR International for
one of my clients.
This application has a ribbon, much like the MS Office Ribbon,
complete with shortcut keys, just as Microsoft Office has.
I am wondering, though, why this ribbon behaves properly in JAWS, you
can press the alt key to get to it, and then use the arrow keys to
move from one item to another.
However, in Window-eyes, if you press the alt key, and then try to
press the arrow keys, it doesn't speak. Is there something one can do
via a script to make this ribbon work properly?
I have tried it with both Windows7 and Windows XP with the same result.
By the way, if anyone wants to test it, the product is called NVIVO
and you can find a 30-day demo at
www.qsrinternational.com.
