Hi!
Yes, all this is annoying and one or 2 suggestions, First, make the pop-up
set to on or off globally. the other suggestion, place the list of programs
that it has sensed as in need of update.
For all listed I do not have, so there are more and I have not looked to
find out which ones.
I hope to have my version of the hourly chime released, no name decided and
it will have a sleep and/or wakeup method. spent time writing my own sapi to
file program for some added audio, but may only add files for the numbers
needed for any time instead of all 60 numbers; which playing 30, 40, 50 and 60
is al that is needed to be added.

Subject: the make pointer follow cursor has the wrong version
hi to gw-scripting.
and to those hackers out there.
i found where the problem is located.
if you have installed the makepointerfollowcursor version 2.1 app it has a
version number error that is makeing the app update dialog come up even with
the newest version installed.
if you want to fix it yourself.
go to the default folder where the set files and the
makepointerfollowcursor.xml file is. open the context menu on it with shift f10
and arrow to edit.
find the line that says:
<string id="SCRIPT_VERSION"><![CDATA[2.0]]></string>
and change the version number to 2.1 and save the file.
reload w e 7.5 and it will then show the correct version number and will not
try to update anymore.
There's amazing intelligence in the Universe.
You can tell because none of them ever called Earth.
