I think it would be a nice enhancement if appGet used a progress bar during the download of an app; I don't know if the facility being used for downloading allows for this or not, but I too have wondered what was happening when I installed an app and nothing seemed to happen. If not a progress bar, then an announcement if the app was more than a certain minimum size, that the app was large and might take more than a minute to download. Chip

These are probably both large downloads. I know Homer Shared Object is very large. While the app is being downloaded, the machine seems to freeze. There is no speech feedback or anything else. Try waiting longer and I'll bet it will come back.
