Hi Bob, Sorry I don't seem to have time to monitor the list often.
Steve gave you the keystroke for the status bar in Word 2003. I wanted to mention though that it produces almost unintelligible groups of characters when you do this. this is in part because it's the color of some of the characters which conveys important information (the characters themselves don't change, only their color). If you need the info from the status bar, I'd recommend the app I wrote named Word Advanced Features. It intercepts the read status bar command, and gives you it's information in much more understandable plain language. It also interprets many of the pieces of information on the status bar, and gives you text labels for them which should help you understand what they mean. It does a lot more than this; but this helps a lot. hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: Robert Ringwald [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, October 02, 2011 2:14 PM To: GWMicro List Subject: Question About Reading Status Line in Word 2003 What is the command for reading the status line in Word 2003? --Bob Ringwald www.ringwald.com Fulton Street Jazz Band 530/ 642-9551 Office 916/ 806-9551 Cell Amateur (Ham) Radio K6YBV I hate all this terrorist business.
