Just as another example...from Immed you can just type the single line
below:
print keyboard.capture.name
or, since name is the default, you could just type:
print keyboard.capture
Both are the same. But this will prompt you to press any key
combination and once you do it will display the name. When run this
line and press you control-alt-numpad plus I get the following printed:
"Control-Alt-Numpad-+"
Immed is without a doubt my favorite app <smile>.

While Tom is correct that you can get the "official" string of a
hotkey from the Window-Eyes hotkey lists, RegisterHotkey is very
amenable when it comes to what format you need to put in the string
parameter, at least in terms of the modifiers. So you could say,
"Control-Alt-Insert-Shift-1", "Alt-Shift-Insert-Control-1",
"Shift-Control-Insert-Alt-1," and so on.

Just open the Window-Eyes control panel, hotkeys, and capture the key
you want on an undefined hotkey. This will give you the text to use
in your script. Then just undefine the key and make sure you didn't
save the set file.

Hi all,
I am wondering if there is a list of the strings needed for the
register
hotkey. I am trying to add a hotkey that uses:
Control Alt Numpad Plus, and control Alt Numpad 5. There are other
hotkeys in the app for the rest of the numbers on the numpad, but I
Guess it would be simular to the numpad 5 .
Any help would be welcome.
Thank you,
