I was reading something yesterday and it wasn't reading them correctly.  It was 
an article on the internet I was reading.

Yes Katherine, he does fix the dot separators issue you mention (according to 
comments in the code), but my experiments with 7.5.2 show that it is speaking 
this correctly anyway, so maybe it was fixed sometime recently? (I can't say 
I've ever noticed this being a problem).
