Thanks I will look at it. I have spent most of the week learning the
stuff along with setting up for my network and permissions. I was wondering
what the command was for the search, thanks, my friend Keith was over but he
does not like explaining his every move, in other words I knew it existed
but that is far as it went.
I actually like most of Windows 7 and learning the new hotkey stuff and
it is not bad. The email client, Outlook Express is the bullet hole filled
app that I have to transform over to Outlook once I get the key for aOffice
2010. Still waiting but it is Christmas and Santa seems to have gotten stuck
in Colorado, Smile :)
Just waiting for the state to release it. The other problem I had when
it attack Windoweyes on installation was a Trend Micro thing, in other words
it did not like the program and attacked it. So having Keith over removed
that software.
Actually in my old XP when copying over some files to the new OS viruses
were found by Live Mail and such which I knew existed from some of my old
back-ups.
But, using XP for email at the moment until the new Office stuff gets
loaded.
So I will take a look at that E book and may ask for more E books down
the road.

I don't remember changing much on my win7 pc to make it work with
window-eyes. I really don't think you should choose to stay on xp though if
you have any chance to use win7. One reason is a recent study which showed
that even though win7 had more than 50% of the installed base of Windows,
windows xp had over 75 percent of the malware infections (I think that's how
it was phrased). the conclusion they went on to make was that windows 7 was
much more resistant to malware infections than xp.
And really, once you read the free book I sent you a link for, you'll see
there's very little difference in the two interfaces; you don't have to
learn much at all. if you learn that control escape puts you into a search
editbox rather than into a menu, you've mastered most of what you need to
know already. you type a few characters of the menu item you want into this
editbox, and you'll be in a menu, probably already positioned on the menu
item you would have had to hunt for.
