cursorKeyAction query

Hi:
If I have a CursorKey object, and access either the first or second action, is 
there a way to determine whether the action is undefined. Is this returned in 
the description property? Also what cursor keys require CursorKeyParameters, 
are these objects? There doesn't seem to be a corresponding object.
Any help appreciated.
