Wanda:

You didn’t mention in your message below whether you had installed the Java
Access Bridge. I believe Chip did install the Bridge in his efforts with the
Lunar Tab program. The Java Access Bridge is different than WE4JAVA. If I
remember correctly, WE4JAVA was designed several years ago to run independent
of the Java Access Bridge.

I don’t think so; I think I would reboot one more time.

Then, if at all possible, I’d get on the phone to GW support; they can also
remote in to your pc to have a look.

I am using Win7 and WE version 8.3. If you are using Windows xp, or WE 7.5,
then possibly that is the problem, you’ll need to ask Gw support.

Good luck,

Chip

Subject: What am I doing wrong?

Hello Kevin and Chip. Thank you for the follow-up suggestions. I've used Bill
Brown's site for years, just love Bill Brown. I'm encouraged Chip by your
success of getting Window Eyes to voice the Lunar Tab program. I erased Java
and downloaded the most recent version jre7u45windowsi586 and installed it.
Then I installed the Window Eyes app we4java. I rebooted and then loaded the
lunar program and it opened when I hit the JRE file, so no strange message, but
Window Eyes is not voicing anything. I am running Window Eyes 7.11. Should I
load an older version of Java? I checked in Window Eyes Script Manager and it
said WE4java was running.Thanks.
