I have been trying to find the Biblical Greek character iota subscript so that I might cut and paste it into print unicode texts. I would like for the screen reader to say either “iota subscript” or if combined with alpha, eta, or omega to say “small alphawith iota subscript”, or “small eta with iota subscript” or small omega with iota subscript”. The terminology used by the charname.ini code is not preferable and sounds something like “small alpha with perispomeni and ypogegrammeni”.
I am attempting to produce an audible, Biblical Greek grammar using familiar terminology in a friendly screen reader format for someone who no longer reads braille. Any help you could give, such as sending me the above describe character or characters, would be greatly appreciated. Cordially yours, Grant E. Metcalf Bartimaeus Alliance of the Blind, Inc.
