I think you got no answer Bruce because it wasn't really a scripting question.  
You might get more help on the gw-info list.

    I got no response to this, but an interesting thing was going on. I kept 
getting the Windoweyes screen as noted below, but discovered an interesting 
event in the sys tray. I had 2 copies of Windoweyes there. 
    then after sending the email below to be posted, the next day the screen 
cleared itself and it all went away. It was there for several days and just all 
of a sudden cleared itself.
    This happened on my XP computer only.

I have windoweyes always displayed on the screen and I have selected to have it 
only in the System tray. How do I get Windoweyes off the screen so it does not 
gain focus and can go directly to the Desk Top?
