Broadcast input is disabled even when gwibber active

Bug description:
Running Ubuntu 10.10 RC1 with latest updates till today (10-10-2010).
Gwibber is running but the broadcast field is disabled (non-editable)
in the indicator-me applet.
I notice 2 gwibber-service processes running everytime I start
gwibber.
