I imagine this is because Gwibber caches tweets (no doubt to improve performance, and because Twitter limits the amount of tweets that can be retrieved in one go)
It seems to me that it would make sense to remove tweets that you've deleted through Gwibber, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to 'discover' tweets that had been deleted through other sources (web interface for example) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gwibber Bug Heros, which is subscribed to Gwibber. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/658499 Title: gwibber displays deleted messages, no indication of deletion Status in Gwibber: Confirmed Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: gwibber Gwibber (v2.30.2 Ubuntu 10.04 x64) on twitter the message delete, but in gwibber not, and how can i delete the history?, in other case, the update not work, because the last 2 or 3 messages in twitter isn't updated on gwibber thanks _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-bugs Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~gwibber-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
