Title: Gwibber doesn't use webbrowser to authenticate twitter, instead asking users to put in password into the application Status in Gwibber: Won't Fix Status in “gwibber” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Binary package hint: gwibber Gwibber has no accounts. I am setting up a twitter account. I clicked authorize. What happens: A little twitter web page opens in the gwibber application and asks for my username and password What should happen: I expect my webbrowser to open a new tab with the twitter "authorise this application" page. I have already signed into twitter on my web browser. The point of OAuth is so applications don't have to save passwords, however i can't know if gwibber is saving my password.
