Yes it is - version 3.4.0 in 12.04 is still very jerky or lags when scrolling through messages.
It seems to be a threading problem with respect to what is already loaded and visible to view and searching for and loading new messages. Might be that the user interaction needs a bit more work. Suggestion might be to fire a thread to check for new posts and then load into a seperate process. then after a period of inactivity ask/tell the user there are new posts do you want to view then - then you can load with a progress bar - this will give the user a visual queue and allow to do other things as the posts load. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gwibber Bug Heros, which is subscribed to Gwibber. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/890963 Title: Gwibber slow to load data and use Status in Gwibber: Incomplete Bug description: I am using Gwibber 3.3.0 and I know there has been heap of work go into the product to address the general responsiveness, however I still think its still very slow to use.
