@garethjrichards: does that happen every time for you? It means the twitter API didn't give us a valid json result which seems like it would affect everyone, unless it was a transient failure. Regardless this is way to fragile and we need to improve the error handling there.
-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gwibber Bug Heros, which is subscribed to Gwibber. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/755311 Title: cant add twitter account - sticks on verifying Status in Gwibber: Incomplete Bug description: In gwibber 3, when i try and add my twitter account, it asks me to click the authorise button, and sends me to the twitter authorise page, which goes fine. however after that, it sends me back to the gwibber account pane, where it shows verifying on a yellow bar, and stills shows the authorise button. if i reclick the authorise button, it shows a blank page at the top half, and another twitter authorise page at the bottom. also at no point in this process does twitter show in the left hand pane, and or if i run gwibber-service manualy. I am on ubuntu natty. all my other services work fine, including status.net, facebook, buzz and identi.ca .
