I can reproduce the problem, I am reproducing it constantly, many times
during a day. I don't seem to need to do anything, the gwibber-service
just saturates the disk I/O for about a minute from time to time. I
don't see any correlation with what I'm doing. From what I can tell,
it's random.

How can I collect more information?

Title:
gwibber starts writing to disk when clicking on a user

Status in Gwibber:
  Invalid

Bug description:
When using Gwibber as Twitter client, whenever I click on user icon or I do
some action that creates a filter for messages, my hard disk starts working for
a very very long time (iotop shows gwibber and gwibber-service activity), while
cpu seems not affected.
PC became unresposive due to high i/o activity, and after some minutes I have
to kill gwibber (that became totally unresponsive) to keep using my pc.

Everything started after last gwibber update, I think it was done last week.
I'm currently using last ubuntu version 10.10 always updated with custom
vanilla kernel 2.6.36.
