We are committed to the further development of GWTExt. We will update the library as things come out (like IE 8.0, Chrome support, etc...). As far as new widgets are concerned, we are adding them as time progress. They probably not match the future direction of Extjs but we'll be integration others that can be used in GWTExt directly. Some example of them are: Maps, Charts, Plotters, Mad Cool Date, etc...
