it happens also with a small grid??? i'm working with grid and i see that are very slow... and also memory eater...maybe you're running out of memory and when you move between cells maybe isn't fast enough or something similar....try to see if with a small grid the problem persists... and also on the mouse over event are you making something cpu intensive? or some update? or sending other events? bye pat... PS strange but internet explorer is faster than mozilla and opera on grids.... and also happens that mozilla with "relatively big" grids goes in loop allocating all the memory (e.g. with 2K cells i stopped mozilla when was occupying about 2gigs of ram)
