answers your problem. Basically, use either Long or double instead of long.

Subject: 'long' not safe to access in JSNI code

Hi :

I have just downloaded the Google Ext and am trying to build
HelloWorld tutorial. I am using :

* gwtext-2.0.6
* gwt-windows-1.5.2
* ext-2.0.2

I am getting first 'Out of Memory' error. After adding 'java -
Xmx128MB' flag to shell script I am now getting lot of errors of the
following types :

1) "Type long may not be returned from a JSNI method"
2) " type 'long' is not safe to access in JSNI code "

I saw few threads about this error in the online posts but was not
clear on how to fix the error. Could you point me in the right
direction?

Thanks,
Srini
