I want to trigger the select of the combobox, not respond to it.

Something happens (the user selects a row in a grid), than I do:

     position.expand();
     position.selectByValue(selectedRow.getAsString("position"), false);
     position.setValue(selectedRow.getAsString("position"));

(API documentation says, that the CB must be expanded - so I call this 
command too - it does nothing). The only thing that works is the 
setValue. But setValue does not perform a select (selected item is 
undefined)...

Frustrating...
