I think we have had the same problem with IE6-8 and we tracked the
issue to ext-all.js where the following line:
document.write("<s"+"cript id=\"ie-deferred-loader\" defer=\"defer\"
src=\"/"+"/:\"></s"+"cript>");
doesn't always work and makes IE stall in a loop. We solved it by
changing it to:
document.write("<s" + "cript id=\"ie-deferred-loader\" defer=\"defer\"
src=\"" + "\/js\/blank.js\"></s" + "cript>
