textarea is just e textfield preventing scrollbars....i never met such
problems
with textfields but honestly i never used textarea...
i test my app on ie, firefox, opera, safari and chrome...and i have tested
it
on ie7, ie8, firefox 3.x, opera 9.x and 10.x...i didn't know what problems
are you
having but maybe depends from the parent layout....
you also didn't specify what version of ie and firefox are you talkin'
about...
and also you didn't post your code....so what you expect the help could be?
