i am using eclipse and had to add some logging. didn't grok the mortbay stuff, so i used apache commons logging on top of log4j. that works fine also.

i am debugging an attempt at <http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit-incubator/wiki/ServerPushFAQ#Server_Push_in_GWT>http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit-incubator/wiki/ServerPushFAQ#Server_Push_in_GWT, so it;s confusing.

my eclipse onsole looks like:

99500 [btpool0-3] INFO p.server.GreetingServiceImpl - server is returning ...
(Reasy.java:105) 2010-11-03 19:26:45,202 [INFO ] client is senging: ...
99516 [btpool0-3] INFO p.server.GreetingServiceImpl - server received: ...
(Reasy.java:114) 2010-11-03 19:26:45,202 [INFO ] client received: message: 21, ... 99547 [Thread-13] INFO p.server.GreetingServiceImpl - received response from device ... thread count,

it would be nice if the formats were sorta similar.

it would be really nice if the chronological order could be preserved (but that is probably problematic). if the time stamps were in the same format i could do a sort i suppose. ...e.com/group/gwt-log?hl=en.
