Ray, do you have a small Eclipse project which demonstrates the problem?

no, it's 22 mb or so and need a bunch of libs in addition to that.

this is not an urgent problem. i can just turn it on and off with the set name in the xml.

i usually can move it by dragging it out of the way. but the new html that my associate wrote is using jquery and so for some reason, the gui widgets are on top of the logger widget, so i can not grab it and move it.

thanks

Have you turned logging on in your .gwt.xml? Or is it compiled out in production?

this is in my gwt.xml:

<inherits name="com.allen_sauer.gwt.log.gwt-log-DEBUG" />
<!-- <set-property name="log_DivLogger" value="DISABLED" /> -->

Have you enabled the DivLogger in your .gwt.xml?

the logger works and is there unless i uncomment the set property.

setting log levels works fine. i just get the null when i: DivLogger divLogger = Log.getLogger(DivLogger.class);

thanks
