Hello, For reasons unknown, recently, no files I've saved from Veeco Nanoscope (the ones with the 'file extensions' 000, 001, 002, etc) have been openable by Gwyddion - before, they all worked. Seems to be the same version as before.
Anyway, I tried saving as ASCII, and the resulting format is reasonably comprehensible - a big array of heights - but Gwyddion won't open it. So, 1) Has anyone else seen this problem? 2) What's the ASCII format that gwyddion understands? With that in hand, I can write a script to convert, which would be easily adapted into a parser.
