Hi,

I just installed Gwyddion, and I really like the program.
Unfortunately it lacks one function I would need to use it in my
everyday work. The "edit mask" tool is great, but it only offers
"rectangular shapes", "elliptic shapes" and "thin lines" to modify the
mask. What I need is a tool to manually create more complex mask shapes
(in GIMP this function is known as "free select tool"). Or some kind of
"eraser tool" or "paint brush tool" to modify the mask in a free-hand way.
Does Gwyddion already permit to do this and I just didn't get it? And if
not, would it be difficult to implement this feature?

Best regards,
Johannes
