The installation of gwyddion with pygwy on OS X is not too simple,
but also not too hard:
a) install "python_select":
sudo port install python_select
b) set you macports python version to the default version
(python2.7 in my case):
sudo python_select python27
c) install "py-gtk2":
sudo port install py-gtk2
c)2) is you want syntax-highlighting:
sudo port install gtksourceview2
d) configure and build gwyddion again.
This _should_ work - please give a comment if this does
not work as expected.
If it is wanted, I can add a variant which adds the both packages
above to the dependencies. However I'm unable to select a default
version for python.
