I have just installed a new HD and replacing/updating everything. After going through the XQuartz, MacPorts, and Gwyddions installs, I did as you said (below) adding the 'sudo' command
sudo ln -s XQuartz.app X11.app yet Gwyddion still does not launch. Any further suggestions?
