Tony, I have riden solo along Old Weaver, and Grace and I rode Beaver Dam/Old Weaver recently, and although it is chip and sealed it is fine. I must say Old Weaver does look a bit different, but it is still a great stretch of road. If you are considering it for Saturday's ride it will be no problem.
