My recollection from years past is that the pace was relatively controlled for about the first 10-15 mi, the lead group was probably 22+ (I don't know, cause I never saw em after about 20 miles !), but there were plenty of us in several slower groups, possibly down to sub 17, and it's a straight out and back course (bike route 1 ?). I think cue sheets can also be printed from the NCBC web site. I'll be out of town and will miss it this year. Y'all have fun! Kevin
