I am missing the touring ride this morning as I am recovering from a nasty
stomach bug this week. If there is a touring ride on 2/15/09, I should be back
in the saddle again.

Folks,
Beginning Sunday, February 15, 2009, the Sunday Touring rides will
begin begin at 9:00 am. This Sunday will be the last time we meet at 9:30 am.

This time of year it is especially important to pay attention to the
following:
Hydration - please bring and DRINK plenty of fluids.
Nutrition - have something to eat about 1 hour before riding -
peanut butter sandwich, oatmeal, etc..
Comfort - the temperature is going to vary significantly during
each ride. Wear layered clothing to accomodate the changes in temp.
MEETING PLACE: Blue Jay Point
TIME: Sunday 2/8/09 @ 9:30 am
RIDE DISTANCE: 30-35 miles
Let's do the Bold Hill Tour/course this Sunday.
PACE: 14-16mph
