Tony and all, I plan on beginning the Tuesday rides out of St. Francis on April 7th (our first ride last year was April 8th) with a starting time of 5:45pm. The format will be the same with a controlled pace until a designated point, and then it is all out to the finish. It will be the one ride in the Gyro schedule where we actually use racing tactics, teamwork, and the object is to be the first one in! The beginning miles are the same each time, with the only change being in the finishing stretches. I plan on having 3 different ones: 1....up Doc Nichols\Leesville\Carpenter pd.\Hickory Grove; (attacks begin at the Doc) 2....up Olive Branch\Carpenter Pd.\Hickory Grove; (attacks begin on the climb up Olive Branch just past the Doc.) 3....up Kemp\Coley\Carpenter Pd.\Hickory Grove. (attacks begin at the first climb on Kemp.) This is the plan. Open to all suggestions. ---- Tony <[email protected]> wrote: > > Andy, > > I haven't heard from Dave Bender yet so I don't know what his intentions > are. > > With the time change this weekend and warmer weather coming, we need to > start figuring out what the weekly ride schedule will be so I can add them > to my weekly ride posts. > > I would like to keep Rick's Tuesday ride the same.
