Well, I have been anxiously awaiting this time of year, and it could not be
coming upon us with a better weather forecast.

Does anyone agree with me that it is time to get revved up for the upcoming
season? In all my years with the Gyros I can not remember a time when there has
been so little chatter and so little excitement about the activity that we love
so much. The Tour of California came and went without any real discussion. I,
for one, thought that it was great.

The main issue with me is the inability to get outdoors and ride. When I check
my workout schedule it shows that I have only been on my Roubaix 4 times in
February, and zero times in March.

Are you kidding me?

I am coming out of the cave. Let's get out and ride, and let's chat it up
afterwards. Tony has a 75 mile course planned, which gives us about 4 hours of
fresh air, and great exercise. Heck, we might even have intelligent
conversation (depending on who you happen to be riding shotgun with...)

Let's continue hearing from Maria and the B's, and Mike and his touring riders.
Let's hear from Keil, and Steve, and Don, and Bert, and all of those other
riders that will be struggling to hang on my wheel tomorrow. Hey Ed, how about
giving the Paddy the business? And, where the heck has Fernando been?

Does Hal still ride? Is Brian going to push his biggest gear for 40 miles? Will
D be returning to the A's? Will Mike Dayton be using the 75 miles as a warm up
for his real ride tomorrow?

And, do you all remember that guy Andy (a.k.dummy)? He doesn't have the legs to
ride with us tomorrow. He will go off with those so-called top riders...

Hey, this is what happens when your wife goes away for the weekend! Too much
time on my hands..

By the way, when do we turn our clocks forward?
