G's, Thought I'd send this on a dreary Monday morning to cheer everyone up and because the Giro is on.
I seen this on the Serotta website and here is the set up so you understand what is taking place. (I'll copy what others on the forum are saying). (Btw, it's about Mario Cippolini). Forumite 1. That guy is over the top .. Have you ever seen that video of his buddies pulling a joke on him that his WC bike was stolen while he was out on a training ride? Then a bunch of gypsies come flying by him with his bike bungee corded to the back of their junker bus... He chases them down on the bike and ends up slapping and hitting the guy before he can tell him it's a joke.. Don't mess with Cippo. Forumite 2. A while back a friend who speaks Italiano translated and it is hilarious. Get someone to do it for you. Cippo was saying " Look I'm gonna hurt you but if you let me in right now its gonna be WAY less painful than when I break into this f-ing barn." and it goes on and on like that for a while.. LOVE IT... Forumite 3. This is from an Italian show called "Scherzi a parte" (jokes aside) in which they play practical jokes on celebrities. Much like "Punk'd" here in the US. It all starts off when Cipollini's mechanic pulls up in the white Smart car to say that Cipollini's wife called to say that the cellar was broken into and that a few bikes were stolen by some gypsies., so when the camper goes by with the bikes on the back, the whole story is set up... When they lock themselves in the garage, the two gypsies are suggesting that he give them 2000 euros for the bikes and Cipollini responds "I'll give you 2000 bashings". I was living in Italy at the time this was first aired and Cipollini was a guest and he stated that if people had not intervened, he would have been even harsher. I doubt that anybody who has seen this video would dare play such a prank on him.
