Good to hear that you are back in the saddle. We have missed you! I think that 
the B's would agree that their ride just isn't the same without you. 

I am not medical, just a trainer, but I would seriously reconsider using 
Cortisone shots in that manner. But, I can understand why you would ask your 
doctor about the implications of continuing down that path. The down time you 
will experience from a total know replacement would keep you off the bike for 
quite some time Why not get in as much as you can out of the knee before the 
surgery? 

Use the metaphoric scale of reason: on one side put in all of the reasons for 
getting the knee replaced right now, and, on the other put in all of the 
reasons that make shooting it up with cortisone a good option. Which way does 
the scale tilt?
