I park at the Durham Tech College on Snow Hill road and roll-out between 6:15 and 6:30. For those of you who ride the routes that take us up Snow Hill, through Treyborne, around Bahama, you know many of the roads I ride. There are some very nice roads out there. This is a B+ type pace, averaging 16-18 depending on the route. There are plenty of hills out there. Since I usually ride it solo, maybe a group would be faster. I plan to alternate between a road ride on one week and a Time Trial ride on the next. When I Time Trial, I warm up over to Range Road, then TT on Range Road, and cool down back to Durham Tech. I would like to see if there is enough interest in having a Time Trail Series where we could keep times and award series points. Maybe Rick could roll the points into his series too. If there is enough interest we could hold the TT Series on another night so as not to conflict with other daily rides. I sometimes go for a 30 minute run afterwards through the residential neighborhood of Treyborn. Its a workout geared for triathletes. Anyone is welcome to come join in. Just shoot me a note and I'll give you the details. Tomorrows ride will leave at 6:30 and will be 25 miles. I'm recovering from a race yesterday, so the pace will be on the low side.
